Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01 : Journey from Kolkata to Gangasagar with Guide
Your sacred journey begins with a morning pickup from Babughat, Kolkata at 9:00 AM.
You will travel comfortably in a private vehicle to Kakdwip, Lot No. 8 (Harwood Point Jetty). Upon arrival, our team will assist you with pre-booked Govt ferry tickets to cross the holy Muriganga River to Gangasagar Island.
After reaching the island, a private transfer will take you to your pre-arranged accommodation for rest and refreshment.
In the evening, you may visit nearby holy places such as:
• Snan Ghat (for evening darshan)
• Kapil Muni Ashram
• Naga Baba Kuti
• Mela Ground for early darshan
Spend the evening in the divine atmosphere of the Gangasagar Mela.
Overnight stay at Gangasagar.

Day 02 : Makar Sankranti Snan, Puja & Havan
This is the most auspicious and divine day of your yatra.
Early morning, proceed for the Makar Sankranti Holy Snan at the sacred Gangasagar Sangam, where the Ganga meets the Bay of Bengal. Perform Tarpan and Gau Daan as per traditional customs.
Later, visit the Kapil Muni Temple for darshan and puja.
After returning, participate in a Jagya and Havan ceremony organized at your camp/tent for peace, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment.
Breakfast and pure vegetarian meals will be served.
Spend the rest of the day in divine bliss and leisure.
Overnight stay at Gangasagar.

Day 03 : Local Sightseeing & Return to Kolkata
After breakfast, explore nearby spiritual sites such as:
• ISKCON Temple (newly constructed)
• Bharat Sevashram Sangha
• Omkarnath Ashram
• GBDA Park
• Samshan Kali Mandir
• Kapil Sarovar
You may also enjoy light shopping for religious souvenirs and holy items from the mela area.
Later, begin your return journey to Kolkata via the same route — ferry to Lot No. 8 and then by private vehicle to Babughat.
Your sacred pilgrimage concludes with divine blessings and cherished memories of the Gangasagar Mela & Makar Sankranti Snan Yatra 2026.
